How much is it?
My family and maternity photo shoots are all £60.
What’s your style?
My aim is to capture beautiful natural photos you can keep as a memory. A lot of parents do say that it’s like a fun day out for the children. Have fun and enjoy yourselves.
What location can we do the photoshoot on?
The photoshoot can be in a location of your choice, as long as it’s around the Newcastle or Northumberland area, that’s not a problem. My personal favourite places are Bolam Lake, Seaton Sluice beach and Cramlington Nature Reserve.
What can I wear?
It’s totally up to you with what you/your family wear.
What if the weather is bad?
If the weather is rainy, bad snow or too windy, I can rearrange the photoshoot with you so don’t worry. If it’s not sunny, don’t worry as this is the best lighting for me to work with.
Do I need to bring anything?
No, you can just bring yourselves. If you have a baby a toy for a distraction is always handy. If you’d like to bring a change of clothes to mix it up, that’s also okay.
Can you just take photos of my child/ children?
Yeah, of course. We can do all images of your children if you’d prefer.
What if my child cries?
That’s okay. I never want to put a child under pressure so I’m happy to wait patiently until they are ready for their photo to be taken. You’ll be surprised what you can catch even if they are upset. If you think they’re done, just let me know and we can stop.
Can you take photos of my newborn on location?
Yeah. I'm happy to take photos of your newborn being held in arms when on location, but I do also specialise in newborn sessions which you can view on the 'Newborn' tab above.
We have a wheelchair. Is that a problem?
No, just let me know and we can make sure we pick a location that’s easily accessible.
How long will the photoshoot last?
Usually, photoshoots last from 30 minutes up until 60 minutes. This can differ depending on the amount of people I’m photographing and the ages.
Should I bring anything on my maternity photoshoot?
I do recommend bringing a scan photo or anything that holds sentiment.
How many images will I get?
You will get at least 20 images.
Do I need to pay a deposit?
No, you can pay me on the day cash or bank transfer.
How long will it take to receive the images?
I will aim to give you your images up to 2 weeks from the day of our photoshoot.
Can you not post my images on social media?
Yeah, absolutely. If you don’t want me to post any of your photographs, just let me know and I won’t.
