About me and my journey

Hi, I'm Georgia, owner of 'Georgia Walker Photography', a North East England based photographer who specialises in outdoor portraiture and newborn photography. Over the past 12 years, and since completing my Photography Degree, I've showed an interest in a lot of different aspects of photography, but this has brought me to love capturing memories for families that they can keep forever.

Since becoming a Mum at the end of 2023, I know how important photographs are, and as everyone tells you 'they'll change so quickly', I don't think you realise to the extent of how true this is until you're living it yourself. The key stages are certainly something you don't want to forget!

I also read a lovely article about how important it is for children growing up to physically see family photos in their home can help their development and make them feel loved, so why not have the best photos on display?

I absolutely love working with families and babies to make sure we get the photos wanted, and making sure you're comfortable throughout. I'm also a big believer in making sure not to 'stage' a photo too much as you do get the best photos with the most natural expressions.

Recently, I have been incredibly lucky to train in newborn photography and I am really excited to see where this takes me.
